About the Sponsors

The courage to achieve a dream cannot come without knowing that there is some sustainability of funding.

At this time, with gratitude, I would like to thank my sponsors for the 2015-16 season. Without their support, it would not be possible for me to continue track driving through the end of this year.  Please take a moment to check out their good works in the community through their websites (links below). If you see go to their Facebook page, please give them a “Like”!

And, most of all, please ensure that their good works continue by giving them your patronage! Thank you!

Awesome Without Borders

Fast Driver Mom is honored to be selected as a 2015 Awesome Without Borders Grant recipient. Without the support of AWB, the board of directors, and Ruth Ann Harnisch, the HPDE at Indianapolis Motor Speedway would not have been possible. Even beyond the grant itself, the trajectory of Ruth Ann’s gender-stereotype breaking professional career, the unconditional support, and personal guidance she spontaneously and generously offered me are gifts of inspiration.

An excerpt from the website:

“In early 2013, The Harnisch Foundation — which has been practicing creative, progressive, downright unusual grantmaking since 1998 – fell in love with its ideological counterpart, The Awesome Foundation. (Basically, our peas found their carrots.)

“The Awesome Foundation distributes a series of monthly $1,000 grants to projects and their creators. The money is pooled together from the coffers of ten or so self-organizing “micro-trustees” and given upfront in cash, check, or gold doubloons. The chapters are autonomous and organized by the trustees around geographic areas or topics of interest. The Foundation provides these grants with no strings attached and claims no ownership over the projects it supports. It is, in the words of one of our trustees, a micro-genius grant for flashes of micro-brilliance.” To date, 106 chapters have been established in over 25 countries, with 1000+ projects funded.”

  1. Ayesha is a high energy, interesting and inspiring woman! I met her at Indy – we shared a garage. I had a minor health issue and Ayesha came to the rescue offering medical information, empathy and support. She gives ‘gutsy” new meaning! I love her “can do” attitude and her ability to ask for help but try to do things for herself! She is a sweet, highly intelligent, caring woman who embodies so many qualities I admire and aspire to! I couldn’t have asked for a better garage assignment – I had the BEST neighbors!! I hope our paths cross again – at a track or otherwise!

    1. Dear LadyLambo….you know I could not have gotten through the weekend without you. And I agree with your philosophy: “NeedMoreGarage”
As my mentor Swami said to me once: “Track friends are the best friends!”
